Alexandra Noele Grey was born in Chicago, Illinois. Raised in seven foster homes, she was determined not be a stereotype and to always follow her dreams of making it on the big screen. After high-school, she relocated to California where she began studying Theater at California State University Northridge and soon after began a career in television. Her roles include Empire (2015), How to Get Away with Murder (2014), and The Angel of Darkness (2020). She recently joined the cast of the Fox TV drama series Empire, where she plays Melody Barnes an artist signed to Cookie Lyons new record label. Her influences include some of the greats including Meryl Streep, Viola Davis, Loretta Devine, Sandra Bullock and so many more.
