Born in the Bronx and Juilliard trained, Christine Dunford began her theater career in NYC. Upon graduating from The Juilliard School, she made her stage debut in Joseph Papp’s NY Shakespeare Festival production of Two Gentlemen of Verona at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park. She spent the next two years performing both on Broadway and off-Broadway in the American premiere of Serious Money at The Public Theater, founded by Mr. Papp, as well as the lead role of Love’s Labors Lost, directed by Gerald Freedman and went on to appear in productions such as Infidelities at Primary Stages and the title role in Tamara.

On the West Coast, Christine starred with Ed Begley, Jr. in David Mamet’s Cryptogram at the prestigious Geffen Playhouse. She was then cast in Losing Venice and 7 Blow Jobs at the Bottom’s Dream Theater Company, followed by The Shadow Box at Edgemar Theater, directed by fellow Juilliard alum, Keith David.

Christine has appeared in over 100 episodes of television, most recently on Amazon’s The Purge. She’s been cast as a series regular, guest star and co-star on networks such as Fox for 9-1-1, The Gifted, Bones, Arrested Development, ‘Til Death and Ally McBeal; NBC for Law and Order: LA, Harry’s Law, Frasier, Seinfeld, Four Kings and Crossing Jordan; CBS for The Young and the Restless, The Mentalist, Without a Trace, Two and a Half Men, Family Law, Judging Amy and Chicago Hope; ABC for Boston Legal and The Secret Lives of Men; TNT for Rizzoli & Isles, Raising the Bar and Trust Me; The WB for What I Like About You and Jack & Jill and A+E’s Longmire, to name a few.

Her film career includes classics like American Dream, Hello Herman, Love & Basketball, and How to go Out on a Date in Queens.

Christine’s body of work also includes being a playwright. She was invited to perform her series of monologues, Out Loud, at HBO’s Aspen Comedy Festival.

She created a solo show, Toucan in the Bronx which she put up at The Improv in Los Angeles.

In addition to her work on-camera and stage, Christine is a well respected voice artist and has worked on several animated series including Disney’s Star Wars Resistance, VO and Motion Capture for video and online games such as Mass Effect, Lord of the Rings, Civilizations, Dawn of War, Hitman, Everquest, Warhammer and XCOM and has been the voice of t.v. and radio commercials, documentary films and museum installments.
