Jaynee-Lynne Kinchen, affectionately known as JL, was born in Baton Rouge, LA. She has been singing, dancing & entertaining on stage since age 3. Her first vocal performance in front of an audience was Shirley Temple’s “Animal Crackers”. She is well known in her community for singing the National Anthem at LSU sporting events, which she has been doing since age 5! Although she’s been known to have a few shy moments in her early years, the second anyone would hand her a microphone, she would light up, put on her sassy personality & no one would ever guess that she had a shy bone in her body! JL is the youngest of her siblings who also did some film acting in their younger years.

The producers of America’s Got Talent discovered JL’s singing voice at age 4 out of 48,000 and selected her for their live TV show. She sang in front of celebrity judges & a large audience which she brought to their feet! JL can be seen in the Focus Features film Self/Less in a lead role as the daughter of Ryan Reynolds and opposite Ben Kingsley and has guest-starred on NCIS: New Orleans. In July 2017, she wrapped another lead role, opposite Carlos and Alexa PenaVega in the Hallmark original movie, “Enchanted Christmas.” In 2019, JL starred as Linda Cardellini’s daughter, Sam, in Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema’s The Curse of La Llorona. Also in 2019, she booked and filmed a 20th Century Fox TV Pilot named Adam & Eve, as the role of Beth.
