Maureen Lipman was born on 10 May 1946 in Hull, Yorkshire, England as Maureen Diane Lipman. She is an actress, known for The Pianist (2002), Educating Rita (1983) and Oklahoma! (1999) plus a series of adverts for British Telecom. She was married to Jack Rosenthal from 1973 until he died in 2004. They had two children together.
