Scheer is an American actor, comedian, writer, director, podcaster, and producer. Scheer was born in Huntington, New York and graduated from New York University. He starred on the FXX series The League (2009), The HBO comedy Veep (2012), The Netflix series Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp (2015), the ABC sitcom Fresh Off the Boat (2015), and Hulu comedy series The Hotwives of Orlando (2014), which he also executive produces. Scheer co-created and starred in the cult MTV sketch series Human Giant (2007) as well as the Adult Swim series NTSF:SD:SUV (2011). His films include supporting roles in The Disaster Artist (2017), Army of One (2016), Opening Night (2016), Daddy’s Home (2015), Hell Baby (2013), Ass Backwards (2013), Clear History (2013), and Hell and Back (2015). He starred in a web series for JASH called The ArScheerio Paul Show (2013), which recreates classic moments from the The Arsenio Hall Show (1989) and was dubbed 2013’s best viral video of the year by USA Today. Scheer also has made appearances on programs such as Burning Love (2012), 30 Rock (2006), Best Week Ever (2004), Childrens Hospital (2008), Funny or Die Presents… (2010), Happy Endings (2011) and Yo Gabba Gabba! (2007).
