Robin Bartlett was born April 22, 1951 in New York City, New York. She made her film debut in Heaven’s Gate (1980), though her breakthrough role was on television, when she played Debbie Buchman, the lesbian sister of Paul Reiser’s character Paul Buchman, on the popular sitcom Mad About You (1992). She was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award for the role. She is also known for her work on American Horror Story (2011).
