Born and raised in the old city of Jerusalem Israel, Tamar is an Award Winning actress, writer and jewelry designer. Tamar began her acting career in the prestigious Cameri theatre in Tel-Aviv, at the young age of 14, acting in the critically acclaimed production of ‘Murder’ (by Hanoch Levin), which was the winner of the Israeli ‘Tony’ Best Play Award. She was a recipient of a Certificate of Excellence for Theatre Achievement at Thelma Yellin Performing Arts school in Israel and continued her training at Circle in the Square Acting Conservatory in NYC. She is also the designer behind the brand Janjoon Jewelry, which can be seen in different museums and stores all across California, and she is a writer; in development of an hour-long TV drama series, an adaptation of the Israeli best selling book ‘The Perfect Idiot’ into a feature film, and development of a short form Musical Series.
