Tiffany and Krystle Mataras are American actresses and arguably one of Hollywood’s most famous sets of twin child stars. They appeared together in many films throughout the 1990’s including Kindergarten Cop, Problem Child 2, Single White Female, and Camp Nowhere. Born in Greece to a Father from Lesvos island and a third generation Greek American Mother, the identical mirror twins re-located to Los Angeles, California at the age of 2. The sisters booked their first audition, a national Kentucky Fried Chicken commercial, and went on to book a national ALL detergent commercial within the first month of entering acting. After appearing in the pilot for the CBS series WIOU, the sisters made their film debut in 1990 as Tina & Rina in Kindergarten Cop. They went on to appear alongside John Ritter in Problem Child 2, Briget Fonda and Jennifer Jason Leigh in the film Single White Female, and Christopher Lloyd in the Disney kids comedy Camp Nowhere. They have appeared in national commercials for MCI and JC Penney, and in episodes of the Steven Spielberg TV drama High Incident. They also did post production work for the Adam Sandler comedy Jack ‘n’ Jill. For the majority of their career they were represented by legendary American talent agent Iris Burton.
