Tonya Cornelisse is an award winning actress …and she writes stuff too. She is known for Bobby Moresco’s Beyond Suspicion (2018), Nick Cassavetes’ Yellow (2012), Crave (2012), Parks and Recreation (2009), and NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service (2003). Tonya started acting professionally in the theatre in her early teens. She has studied privately with Harold Guskin & Alan Arkin, and is a lifetime member of The Actors Gym in Los Angeles. Tonya’s career of edgy independent roles has earned her many awards on the film circuit. She has been honored by BFI, Chicago Film Festival, Outer Critics Circle Awards among other. Tonya attended NYU’s Tisch school of the Arts and has a double major in Psychology. Tonya loves marshmallows and ketchup.
