Denny Dillon is an American stage, television and film actress and comedian. She was born on May 18, 1951 in Cleveland, Ohio. Six weeks after moving to NYC in 1973 she was cast on Broadway in Angela Lansbury’s Gypsy. She was a cast-member on Saturday Night Live 1980-81. Nominated for a Tony for the hit Tommy Tune/Twiggy musical My One & Only . Dillon won a CableACE award for HBO’s Dream On (1990-96). Other work includes Ice Age (2002), United 93 (2006), and the iconic Saturday Night Fever. Recently she was awarded “best actress” at the ICP Ent Short Film Series for her role in Absent Mind.
